Feature request — More storage info for disk drives

Hi there!
I recently found a perfect little feature that prevents me from having to use Win+E (This Computer window) to get a quick overview of all the installed drives and their free space situation:
When you click on the drive icon at the beginning of the address bar, a little palette pops up with a list of all the drives in use. There is also information about free space, which is very useful.
It would be even better if there was another number - the total capacity of each drive, with a small progress bar showing the situation as shown on the illustration below. (Red is the drive that is running out of space.) Because still the Win + E is faster for getting the quick overview of the whole free-space situation.
Thank you!

Yes, in a neat form like on your doctored image that would be helpful
But options of such feature should be implemented as being configurable

If you HOVER the mouse over that drive icon at the beginning of the ADDRESS bar, you get a flyout showing the additional "capacity" information you're looking for. It's not presented in the dropdown palette you show for ALL of the local drives when you left-click on the drive icon, but at least it shows you that drive's size which is the information you're looking for.
Same thing happens if you HOVER the mouse over ANY of the local drive icons presented in the DRIVE bar (above the ADDRESS bar).
While perhaps not quite what you're requesting nor as pretty, and only available for one drive letter at a time, but at least that data value for all local drive letters is easily seen with today's FCXE.

Note: Topic moved to Feature requests.
Just few other ways to display free disk space:
- Click the drive button in the address bar
- Press Alt+F1
- External program - HotkeyP - command - Disk free space, custom global keyboard shortcut can be assigned, it will be working even without FC, HotkeyP can show more info, more in Help.
My suggestion for this request for FC, perhaps just add more info to the address bar drive button menu (Alt+F1/F2), currently it looks like this:
Code: Select all
C: SystemDisk ... 370 GB
D: DataDisk ..... 960 GB
It could be improved like this (perhaps even with graphics, as in WE):
Code: Select all
C: SystemDisk ... 370 GB free or 953 GB
D: DataDisk ..... 960 GB free of 3,63 TB
I already suggested the changes for the graphics and colors for free disk space in FC, currently it looks quite ugly / outdated IMO, short light green squares, in WE it's 1 large light blue square (of course, changing to red with less space).

Thanks Dreamer for moving my post to proper section.
And for the keyboard shortcut as well — did not know about that.

You're welcome.
Those shortcuts are basic, using them very often, you can even use Ctrl+F2 to open the same path as in left panel, if you choose the same drive.
Anyway, these shortcuts could be blocked by Nvidia software, which is using them as global shortcuts, so they have to be disabled or changed in Nvidia Geforce Experience settings.
