Full Row Select Unchecked
Full Row Select Unchecked
Can someone help me, what does the setting Full Row Select actually do? I have it checked and unchecked and it doesn't seem to change anything.
Re: Full Row Select Unchecked
If you have the option in the Settings dialog - it means you use old program version.
This option was removed some time ago.

Re: Full Row Select Unchecked
Thanks Marek for your response. FC XE 2024 Build 905 64-bit donor says I'm up to date and I still have that setting. I'm even more confused now.
Re: Full Row Select Unchecked
Could you send me the screenshot with the setting?
Re: Full Row Select Unchecked
It's in Settings - View - Tree - General, so it's just for the Tree and it looks, it's not working good, whole row is selected, but it's possible to click it only within the item name.
Re: Full Row Select Unchecked
Hello Marek, any update on this?
Re: Full Row Select Unchecked
This option works fine, it is for the tree - I thought you meant the option for file list.
- active option - inactive option

Thank you!
Re: Full Row Select Unchecked
The option is still available according to the help file (in the screenshot as well as in the text). This should probably be synced.
Re: Full Row Select Unchecked
Why was this option removed?
I like to use the feature in FC that lets me double-click the white area in the file-list to navigate to the parent directory.
With no option to disable Full-row select you end up always clicking on a file because the row occupies all the white area.
