find duplicates... but exclude them

In file search I would like to exclude multiple files with the same name, getting only the latest of them and excluding the others.
It happens I'm searching for many images files which have many duplicates. I would select only one instance of them, selecting the latest modified one.

So, it would be so useful to have (in the "dupliactes" tab of search ), the checkbox "find duplicates" with an options like "exclude/include" and "select last modified".

What do you think, is this possible? Are there any other ways to exclude multiple files with the same name and older dates ?
