Feature request — Right-click menu on the parent folder (..)

Hi there!

It would be great to be able to get the right-click drop-down menu for the folder when you are inside it. By clicking on the first item in the list "..".

For example, if I am inside a folder that I want to copy a Dropbox link to. The usual way is to go to the parent folder, right click on the folder I just jumped from, select from the drop down menu and then go back inside. Instead of those three steps, there could be just one: R-click on the first line ("..") and choose Action from the drop-down menu.

I don't have a clue if this is possible or not, just giving an idea for discussion.

Thanks a lot!

Maybe it could be incorporated into

Tools > Settings > View > File/folder list > Mouse shortcuts

feature?

Or a whole new set of options could be made available for the

Code: Select all

..
indicator [alike to what Mouse Shortcuts provides]?
