Quick Filter list of past searches has misleadingly always applied check sign

#1 Post by Forez » 20.05.2023, 12:44

When I click the

Code: Select all

triangle icon adjacent right to the box of Quick Filter a list containing past searches shows up. But despite Quick Filter being turned off, the first entry with past search has on is left side the

Code: Select all

✔️
check sign already applied

If the purpose of this is to heave that filtering expression applied whenever the icon of Quick Filter is clicked by the user- then it does not work because me clicking on its con only causes i to turn off and never on. And if that is not how Quick Filter is suppose to function, then this always visible next to first entry check sign is misleading

Hence I propose either adjustments:

A] do not show check sign for number 1 when Quick Filter is turned off

B] do show check sign for number 1 when Quick Filter is turned off - but in the grayed out [menu-nonselecable like] form

C] do show check sign for number 1 when Quick Filter is turned off - but drawn in red when Quick Filter is turned off and in green when turned on

D] make the clicking of icon of Quick Filter turn it on thus turning it into from off-switch to a switch between states

I would suggest making a combo of A+D or [better] B+D or [the best] C+D

I am using FreeCommander XE 2023 Build 889 64-bit Donor Portable
