I use layouts a lot, so I can manage different workflows.
Is the layout bar limited to 10 items ? I f I add more than 10 they hide in the left toolbars window. (and also in the "define action toolbar" items)

Indeed currently you can define 10 buttons for layouts in toolbar ( I will extend it for the next release).
As workaround you can add the button for popup menu with layouts.

Cant wait the newx release !

2. In the dialog you have opened in 1 you can see the quick filter field below the commands. Type the following in the quick filter field: laout
3. Now you can see the command "Layouts" with the description "Layouts; Shows layouts popup menu"
4. Add the comman to the toolbar
