How do I assign a drive letter to an FTP connection, so that it is available for every session?

My connection works and opens from the FTP tab, and I have checked "SFTP/FTP as drive" in the view settings but no drive letter is assigned to it.

Can't you see "SFTP/FTP" when you press Ctrl+F1? Shortcut Shift+2 should work too.
