If I select some files in Details view, multirename tool will launch with selected files.
But if I select some files in other view (thumbnail, icon, list), multirename tool will launch with whole files in folder.

I can not reproduce it.
Do you have steps to reproduce this?

Thank you for testing.
Well it happened many times when I tested last time but I couldn't reproduce this anymore.
I will report if I could reproduce again.

To reproduce:
- select file 2 and 3 of 4 files in folder
- focus [..] item (Ctrl+up or left arrow with default settings, or Home with NC-mode enabled)
- F2
It's a standard behavior, if the focus is on [..] item and F2 is used, all items are selected and added to multi rename dialog.

Ok, it also happened in details view.
My step to reproduce:
1. Open a tab.
2. Click and select on ".." item.
3. Press LMB on empty space and select some files with mouse drag.
4. Select Toolbar/File/Multirename...

This issue is not a bug, it's a feature - standard behavior.
Moved to Discussion.
I'll reply in that topic.
