'Show/hide files tooltip' acts weird and seems partially broken.

- if I switch it on it mostly only works for one panel (ramdomly left or right, didn't find out any reproducable steps)
- if I turn it off again tooltips mostly keep popping up (in one panel, at least) --> restart fixes the issue

the weird thing is: it only happens four times out of five

I can reproduce it, use thumb details view, move a cursor to [..] item, a bit next to the right, free space, then slowly move a cursor to the file below.

Another way to reproduce it, go to the free space next to short file name, tooltip can't be shown for this item, then slowly move a cursor to the file below.

Look fixed for me in 885, default settings.
