Try to move the FreeCommander.chm file (help file) in to FreeCommander SETTINGS folder.
Where the SETTINGS folder is you can check under Help->About.
Check properties of the help file if you can find something with "unblock file".

Could you show the properties of the chm file?
Using FreeCommander as Admin could be a problem too.

The other way:
- install the portable version as dscribed here http://freecommander.com/en/faq-freecom ... l-portable
- download the current help file http://freecommander.com/chm/FreeCommanderXE_chm_en.zip
- copy the chm file from the archive into portable install folder
- start FreeCommander (not as Admin) and try the help

Freecommander is not starting in Admin Mode

After deinstalling the .chm file, and downloading a new .cm file, all is working now.

In the portableversion installed in German, and the chm file in Englisch, it works also.
Thank you for your Help.
