show number of files + size on file selection

Hi,
is it possible in FC to display summary, including number of files and total file size, of selected files?
currently FC shows it when a folder is selected:
but when files are selected its not showing:
The use case for this is that I want to report to management that number of files folders need to be cleaned up, based on couple of scenarios:
1. all files older then 5 years to delete
2. same but for 10 years
