It seems that is impossible to find LNK files when the are in the Recycle Bin, be it by Quick Filter or CTRL + F feature; be it by LNK extension or their names
I am using FreeCommander version 861 32-bit public on Windows 10 Enterprise 20H2 19042.746 x64
Shortcut LNK files are non-findable after being deleted
Re: Shortcut LNK files are non-findable after being deleted
Confirmed, any file can't be find in the Search dialog, in the Recycle bin.
In the Search log tab this error is shown:
"The system cannot find the path specified"
In the quick filter *.lnk doesn't work, *.txt works.
Workaround for the "lnk" in the recycle bin, use the quick search feature, first open the settings - Quick search... and uncheck the option "Searched fraction must exist at the beginning of the text", then just type "lnk" and use down arrow key to find the lnk files.
Another way is to sort items by extension.
