To reproduce:
- use default settings
- use Thumbnails list view
- place the FC window in the bottom-right screen corner
- go to folder with many files, multiple columns
- rename the last file so, that it can't be fully shown
- place the cursor over the last file
- press the Home key, or PageUp key
- now press the End key, or PageDown key to select the last file with long name
= tooltip is shown in the top-left screen corner

I can reproduce it also in Thumbnail details view.
874 64-bit, Windows 10 21H1 64-bit.

Maybe depends on screen resolution?

My resolution is 2560x1440, 100% scaling in Windows, I don't think it's resolution.

OK, I see it now.
It appears sometime only if the mouse is not moved.
As soon as the mouse is moved the hint disappears or will be showing on proper position.
Unfortunatelly, I can not control the position of the hint.

Hm.. I think it's a regression and it was fixed for some view types.

It's broken for the new view types with thumbnails, with old view types without thumbs it works good.

BTW I can reproduce it also if I move a cursor:

- now press the End key, or PageDown key to select the last file with long name
= tooltip is shown in the top-left screen corner

And just to make sure, I mean the item name tooltip only, it's not the tooltip from the option "Show files and folders tooltip", that option can be disabled.
