Folder sort by name using Toolbar button
Posted: 14.09.2022, 10:32
Have an odd bug.
1) Have toolbar buttons for folder sort by name, date.
2) My default layout is two folder panes with list view for both with files sorted by name using "Windows natural sorting" in ascending order i.e. a-z etc.
3) If click the toolbar button to sort by date then click the button to sort by name the files are sorted in descending order.
I have found
a) This appeared to get introduced in version 869 i.e. if I revert to version 868 or earlier it doesn't happen,
b) I can prevent it I simply switch the panel from list to detailed view and back again
c) I can also prevent it if I start FreeCommander with the active panel in detailed view
Not a major issue
as I now get into the habit of pressing F9 twice when I open FreeCommander. If I forget to do that a simple click of the toolbar button sorts the file names in ascending order.
