FreeCommander XE 2022 Build 860 64-bit donor

The folder tabs keep changing with what appears in what appears to be a random way. If I close one folder tab, another one will instatly change to a different folder, or sometimes a new folder tabe will appear. Closing and re-opening the program gives me a different set of folder tabs.

I like FreeCommmander so have just upgraded to the 64-bit donor version in the hope that it would solve the problem, but it if anything, it is worse.

Help on sorting it would be appreciated.

You can also lock the tabs, limit tab width, use custom icons and "-" to hide name, you can find some info in the FAQ, if you have a specific issue, please provide more details, steps to reproduce.

In general the folder tabs are not completedly under control of FC,
its a standard Window control.
This mean the order of them changes in a way which most users don't like
but this can't be avoided.
It happens in any program which uses Windows tab control.
All is fine if only one row of tabs with a fixed lenght is displayed
