"Search file content" is not working properly

In the “FreeCommander XE 2022,Build 861”, the Search file content is not fruitful.

Although that I know for sure that many files in my folder contain the string I type in, the search often if not always does not bring about any result(“0 files found” message). I don't know if it is an indexing issue with FC or another error.
Keep in mind that I used the default search settings and that it concerns all types of files.

Are there any suggestions?

Thanks!

What do you mean with "Indexing issue" ?
There is no indexing inside of FC and it doesn't use the Windows index.

Search for content works fine even without any converter in the actual FC version.
I tested *.* for Fie name: and various strings in Containing text:
and found the strings searched for in the file formats PDF, TXT, XSLX, DOCX, ODT
Of course the option "Search in Office xml (docx, xlsx, odt)" must be set.

Thanks for your reply.

I don't know if it really works fine, at least for me. Most result don't show up, most noticeably in the case of PDF files. The option 'search in Office XML' is always enabled.

I don't know why it happens and how to circumvent it.

Are you using the x64 donor version ?
As far as I remember the searches will not work in the 32bit public version
without using converters.

I am using the FreeCommander XE 2022 Build 861 32-bit public.

What do you mean by converters?

Converters are tools to extract content from non-text formats to text which is used by FC search.
I earlier FC versions this was the only way to search in Office, PDF and other formats.
Unfortunately I see in the help that tab "Converter" is only activated for FreeCommander donators.
So you have to wait for Marek

Search for a text in pdf files is not possible in the 32 bit version.

I use this feature so often. There is no workaround but to become a donator, I guess.
Thank you for all your help so far.

It would be great if that kind of information would pop-up in a balloon after hovering over the box it describes, be written plan right somewhere near this box or be presented after clicking an icon which would have something like with >>?<< sign or word "HELP" or >>INFO<< in it
