Explorer-like style of the folder list view

It would be nice to have an option to switch the current folder's view style from row-select to item select, just like Explorer does. It would be especially handy along with the accesses to the folder's system context menu (see my post 'System Context Menu on Folder Area').

I know about this but it's not intuitive and not handy. This menu should be quickly available from the anyplace inside the folder area.
