FC ver = FreeCommander XE 2022 Build 872 64-bit donor (portable), (and many previous versions)
Windows ver = 7 & 10

(There were no replies to that thread to indicate that the behavior can be modified in the program settings, so I'm tagging it here as a bug.)
What's needed is either a longer folder expansion delay, a user-definable delay, or no delay at all. But the current behavior interferes with organizing favorites.
