Quick search / quick filter tab does not remember being picked / visited

Under the
Tools > Settings > Quick search / filter / starter
there is this tab named
Quick search / quick filter
The problem with it is that whenever a user is changing something in it [or just viewing it], then after clicking either OK, Cancel or Apply and going back to
Tools > Settings > Quick search / filter / starter
what is shown is not
Tools > Settings > Quick search / filter / starter > Quick search / quick filter
but the other tab; i.e.
Tools > Settings > Quick search / filter / starter > Quick starter
This is counterproductive, because if a user is changing some settings, that user might want to re-change them back after trying them out change also some other settings available in this tab, but saving overall configuration in-between. And as other tabs available under various
Tools > Settings
sections seem to remember being picked / visited the last time, this impose behavior of the Quick starter tab must be a bug
I am using version 861 32-bit public on Windows 10 Enterprise 20H2 19042.746 x64
