Let Splitter and Favorite Toolbars have the same functionality - and add more vertical toolbars?

Currently a user can for example add an item to any Favorite Toolbar and describe it with a Parameter, which makes for almost unlimited possibilities. But in case the Splitter user is allowed only to choose from fixed list of FreeCommander shortcuts. And I get the idea behind that - Favorite Toolbars are what they are while Splitter has its own unique options [and thus the difference in names]. But why should user not be allowed to add the same shortcuts for either of them?

Of course one could argue that Splitter then would become just another Favorite Toolbar: Vertical Favorite Toolbar to be precise; while every Favorite Toolbar then would have to be dubbed Horizontal Favorite Toolbar. Well, yes and no. Its just a nomenclature at this point - going from using one and two words to always three

However: if users were allowed to add also Vertical Toolbars on the left and / or right side of Panels [and not just between them as Splitter is not a mandatory element], then a re-naming indeed would be needed; to distinct Horizontal Favorite Toolbars from [lets say] Splitter / Middle Vertical Favorite Toolbar and Left Vertical Favorite Toolbar and Right Vertical Favorite Toolbar. Thus we would go to using four words for description - but that would be, in my opinion, the only downside for a user; assuming of course that very precise and distinctive naming system can be viewed as something negative

Well, does anyone have any thoughts on that?
