The very top item shown in every Tab is that >> .. << "path" [or whatever it is called] sitting atop the first file or folder. And it has an icon: a default one set by the operating system for folders
I think it should show an individual [customized by a user] icon of a given folder [assuming of course a folder has one]. Because if a user uses icons to quickly tell apart different important folders and to avoid mistakes, why should not such a user be able to see those icons on the left side of that >> .. << indicator? And after all, users already can turn on icons in Tabs thus see their customization - so why not also add visual aid below the Address Bar?
If implemented, this feature should be optional- just like in case of displaying of icons in Tabs. But in this case a simple ON an OFF will do; but maybe also with an individual size adjustment option for this specific icon
