Under the

Tools > Settings... > View > File / folder list > Color / font > Active Panel > Font [ICON] > Size

users can change the size of the font of both files and folders. But what about their icons? Under the

Tools > Settings... > View > File / folder list > Icons

there is not option governing their sizes


Aside from the fact that icons in other places can be [more or less] adjusted in regard to their sizes, there is also this issue of the described above icons and names of items in Panel not having an unified alignment, thus creating a vertical mismatch as a result [viewtopic.php?t=12894]. And because of this issue a need for such option is profound

Settings > View > File/folder list > General > "Use large icons for details and list view".

It's just 2 sizes, small and large, but it's there, perhaps more sizes could be added for 4K displays, but not all files have any icon size, so just some sizes are available, icons with custom sizes would look bad.

BTW The new beta donor version has a new view mode - "Thumbnail details", it's possible to use the thumbnail/icon sizes from 48.
