It's not a bug, but it can be danger, and at least not user friendly, especially for new users, Windows Explorer users.
F8 is not a standard shortcut for delete in Windows and even for the main FC window F8 shortcut is not used, Delete is used here.
I think it should be changed from F8 to Delete.
Advanced users who are used to F8 can change it easily.
Internal viewer Delete default shortcut F8
Re: Internal viewer Delete default shortcut F8
FC is not defined to be a 1:1 replacement for Windows Explorer.
F8 for Delete is standard for many populare file managers for a very long time.
Total Commander as one example.

Re: Internal viewer Delete default shortcut F8
Delete with F8 has been in good old Norten Commander since the mid 80s of the last millennium
Re: Internal viewer Delete default shortcut F8
Of course, I know that, but I think I explained the reasons why it should not be a default shortcut in viewer, just that it's different as in the main FC window.
