Hi, I'm looking for a good file manager for use in WinPE.
FC crashes when run in a PE environment.

Nowadays it is so easy to build your own PE image using the free Microsoft AIK, or the 3rd party way such as using the VistaPE project. I know other free file managers do work in PE, but none are as good a FC.

It would be great if it FC could be made to work in PE.

I used PE Explorer to export a list of all *.dll's & other files referenced by FreeCommander 2008.06a and it worked when I included all files in a PE build.

Using any DLL's that are not part of the AIK, or using any DLLs that do not have seperate redistribution agreements, will violate the Microsoft license agreement.

I would like TC to work out of the box on a WinPE image built using only the AIK, this way TC could be considered for inclusion in the WinPE image we ship.
