[EDIT-OS and FC version added]
Hi, Hello,
Happy FC user here, great tool!
On my new machine, I've encountered a strange problem.
When I try to copy a FILE (left side) to an archived ZIP file (right side) with the copy file/folder function (F5) I'm getting an Operation is not Supported error.
When I try to do that operation manually using CTRL+C and CTRL+V, then it works.
I even tried the older version of the FC but none of them worked. On my other machines it works just fine so perhaps some wrong settings?
OS: Windows 10 x64
FC version: XE 2022 Build 860 x32
Thanks!

Re: Operation is not Supported
Not confirmed.
Runs here without problems.
I have configured the Total7zip plugin for all archive types,
this may make a difference.
[Edit]
Testing with internal Zip also works for me
We miss any information about your OS and FC versions !

Re: Operation is not Supported
Hello,
confirmed in FC 865 donor version, with default settings only.
I found a way how it should work.
- Settings F12 > File/folder operations > General - for Copy and Move set the option "Use FreeCommander"
- click the OK button
- restart FC

Re: Operation is not Supported
Confirmed.
It is something wrong in default settings with fcZip plugin.
It works fine if the plugin settings are saved:
- open settings dialog and go to "Archiver plugins"
- deactivate and activate the checkbox in the fcZip line
- save the settings
- restart FC
