863 DWG Thumbnails are not working like File Explorer

See the attached image with an explanation as to what's happening.
File explorer is showing the correct thumbnail no matter what the size of the thumbnail but FC doesn't. At any of the thumbnail sizes, it's incorrect.
Especially at the smaller sizes.

I don't have AutoCad and I can't see any DWG images at all.

Probably because file explorer uses a dll for the images when ACAD is installed.
File Explorer does the same when ACAD is not installed but when it is the thumbs work.

Thumbnails are broken here too, FC .lnk file in FC vs Explorer, it's broken in all sizes, it's better visible with smaller sizes, 48 and 64.

Were the thumbs correct in previous versions?

For AutoCAD, they did anyway. I stepped away from it for a year or so, so I don't know exactly when they broke.
