Version 860 Left pane not expanding

I just installed version 860 from 790. In the Start program > Start folder, I set a path. The right pane shows the correct path but the left pane doesn't expand the tree. It's always stuck at This PC.
I saved my previous settings from the old version and then resorted them after the 860 update. Why doesn't the left pane expand? Thanks.

Okay, I found the problem. I needed to go into Settings > View > Tree > File system tree > One tree per panel
I would have thought this setting would have been backed up with the other settings
