860 64bit, Synchronize to SFTP website not possible
Posted: 25.12.2021, 12:13
When I try to use SYNCHRONIZE with a NAS folder in one pane and my SFTP website in the other I get an error: "Operation is not supported for the chosen folders"
Not sure if this is a bug or that synchronize to SFTP is simply not supported. Could not find any information on this in the HELP or FORUM.
I maintain a website and keep the original on my NAS drive. Up till now I have been using GoodSync to synchronize the files and folder structure to the website. I wanted to start using FC for this.
Strange thing is that I can use FILE COMPARE with the same NAS and website SFTP. I can compare, copy, move, delete files on both sides. So FC seems to be fully functional here. It is just when I select FOLDER SYNCHRONIZE that I get this message. The synchronize window does not even show. When I select 2 NAS folders I do not get the error message, so it seems that the SFTP folder is triggering this message.
Am I doing something wrong?
Is synchronize with an SFTP website simply not supported?
If not, will this be supported in a future version of FC?
PS did not try with the default settings.
