How can I change the color of the program bar and table?
Those in the example shown are represented as white stripes.

The program bar (wrong name) is controlled by Windows and not under control of FC.

I don't know about other versions of windows, but for windows 11...

go to settings... click the 3 bars in the upper left and search for color... click choose your accent color... scroll down to custom colors... click view colors... pick the color you want and then done and then in freecommander... click tools and save settings

The top bar is orange, the bottom is gray.

To start FC without admin rights right click the FC icon, select Properties - Advanced - and uncheck "Run as administrator". It's for Windows 10, it could be different for other version.

What about the freecommander.exe file, right click, Compatibility tab "[ ] Run this program as an administrator" - is that option there? If so, uncheck it and click the apply button.

There is such an option, but it is already disabled all the time - there is no check mark.

The standard account Administrator is not to be used for normal work.
its the account to use when you have problems with normal account.
Create a normal user account and add it to the Administrators group.

Then it's not the FC issue, it's the Windows option, I'm not sure if you tried the hint above,

You can just try to press Win and type "accent" and hit Enter, it works in Windows 10, should work in Windows 11 too.
