When going to see screenshots (*.png files), the selection of the default viewer, Xnview, on double click action, is not remembered. No problem when using with jpg files, Xnview starts automatically.

My Windows has this standard action already defined. Windows Explorer and another File Manager do not require this action to be defined on the program level. Why FC is different, not to mention the fact that once this action is defined by the Windows drop down menu, it needs to be repeated for every consecutive png file.
Following your suggestion, I would have to define individual actions for almost any file type when having them already defined on the system level.
