Pressing F6 twice does not mark file name anymore

#1 Post by Gaismair » 12.11.2021, 16:35

Hi,

I am using Freecommander XE 2021 Build 858 64-bit public beta on Windows 10 Professional 20H2, German language interface. In the previous version and in this current version it happens that when I press F6 twice the file name is not selected. The full name and destination path remain highlighted.

Was there any change?
How can I activate this function again?

If needed I can also quickly change into English language interface.

Thank you!

Regards,

What should clicking F6 twice do ?
That was never a function for me.
F6 is Move selected files and folder.
If I hit it once the dialog is opened and only the file name is highlighted
So all is fine and didn't change using the latest version

Have a look at the video that shows the difference in behaviour between build 841 and 859 as an example:

https://app.box.com/s/wzwp017kwvsr1gp4ooes2epv6x4tjjqy

For me the behaviour of any release after 841 is in that respect a bug.

Please have that fixed.

Thank you!

As no more response has been received to my last update I have now ditched free commander and will not use it any longer. I found a good replacement.

I am glad for you that free commander does for you what it does not do anymore for me.
