FreeCommander XE 2020 Build 840 32-bit public - Windows 10
Description :
When navigating using "Favorites", automatic views do not work.
Steps to reproduce :
1. Have several folders as favorites.
2. Activate "Automatic Views" (Settings > Display > Column profiles / Automatic views > Automatic views tab > Tick "Change display mode automatically").
3. Create a new "View" (e.g. : Thumbnails view with a "folder name" condition using one of your favorites folders) and move it at the top of the list. Default view has "Details" type and no condition.
4. Navigate between different folders (including the folder that should trigger thumbnail view) using normal file pane or tree. Everything works as expected.
5. Same as 4) but with your Favorites pane : automatic views does not work (it does not switch to proper view).
Thanks.
Automatic views doesn't work with favorites
Re: Automatic views doesn't work with favorites
Confirmed in 850 donor 64-bit, Windows 10 21H1 64-bit.
Workaround, press Enter twice, or click the refresh button, or press Ctrl+R.
Additional bug, assign a keyboard shortcut for the favorite folder (Shift+Ctrl+1...), close favorites tree, go to other folder, press Shift+Ctrl+1.
Result - automatic views don't work either.
