Dos Box

Hi all,
Can anyone help. the older version 2006.06b keeps the Dos Box open when commands are sent from the command prompt line. The later version 2008.06a closes the window regardless of settings. I seem to remember a comspec setting or similar that will keep all Dos boxes open untill EXIT is typed. I use a Dos compiler and several batch files in Dos mode on a normal XP Pro computer.
