848 - Thumbnails sluggish and icons dancing

The thumbnail view is quite slow compared to File Explorer even with a moderate number of files but it gets worse when there's several hundrred.
Here's File Explorer.
Then the same action in FC. Notice the dancing of the icons.

I'm "glad" to see that someone else has (also) taken note of this issue ...
I use xplorer² for ThumbNail views ~ works perfectly ... everytime ~
no matter how many ~ 100s ... or 1000s ...
Not sure how or why 
Maybe Marek could "take a look" at this issue ...
if/When Marek has time/interest
