Search - Can't use "cut" to cut and paste files

OS: Windows 10

If I use the search to search for e.g. all files with *.doc, it shows me the results in the bottom, as intended. BUT if I click on "cut" (the scissor-button), the files are NOT being cut. The only way to cut and paste files from the search results is to rightclick and drag&drop the files to the target folder and choose "move" in the windows context dialog.

Can't confirm, toolbar cut button and Ctrl+X work good here.

FC 840 32-bit public, Windows 10 20H2 64-bit.

You can press Space to show the file in the active panel and then cut or copy anywhere.

Is it possible the file size of all selected files in the search window is too much for freecommander to copy?
I searched over 20 folders with each containing a video-file at about 2gb. I selected these folders and searched for "*.mkv". Then I wanted to select all mkv-files from the search-results to move them all to another location without having to enter each folder and move them individually. Am I doing something wrong? Does FC's cut only work for single files?

It works good here, how do you move the files, Ctrl+X, Ctrl+V, toolbar button, drag&drop?

With Ctrl+E you can export the search result list into file container.
In File container you have all basic operations available.
