Using: FreeCommander XE 2021 Build 845 64-bit donor

Window: Multi Rename window

Problem: When the Multi Rename window appears onscreen the entry fields for FILE NAME, FILE EXTENSION, SEARCH FOR and TIMESTAMP FORMAT are automatically displayed with their contents highlighted. Entry fields, by default, should only be highlighted when they are active. When you start pressing the TAB key to move focus to the desired entry field you have no idea what window item currently has focus - which is extremely confusing.

Can't confirm with custom and default settings. Which options you're using in menu - Options? Perhaps a screenshot would help.

I can partly confirm.

on my machine 'File name' and 'Timestamp format' seem to be highlighted in the multi-rename window.
but only 'File name' is truly active and 'Timestamp format' is a false positive.

I had experienced the same issue that sdaughtry reports but after performing a clean install the issue has disappeared.

Maybe there is something in your FreeCommander.mren.ini which needs to be addressed.
I'm not an expert, so I don't know if FreeCommander.find.ini may also be responsible for this issue.
