How to switchfrom 3 to 2 pane layout? "Open in new window" context menu?

I prefer to have a 2-pane layout instead of the default 3-panes.
How can I switch to only 2 panes mode with treeview on the left and directory on the right?
In case (~2%) that I need in parallel another directory view I need a folder context menu "Open in new window" which opens a new FreeCommander window with automatic jump to the corresponding folder.
How can I enable this?
