FreeCommander Forum

Hello,

When i want to make a search by the item "search" of the file menu 'or with ctrl+f) i get a window. Then i put my search value and when i click on"search" button the window disappear with nothing more.I attempt to change options but it always the same result (no result in fact).

I use FreCommander every day and i'm very satisfied. This problem didn't exist before but i can't say in which release it appeared.

Thanks for your response. Then can you give me an idea to search why I have this problem ? in the config of windows, in options of FreCommander ?

To avoid problems with settings, please try the portable version.

Try to deactivate the option in Search - menu - options - Run in external process.

When I use this option, and start searching, Search window disappears for a moment.

It's just an idea, Portable version could help, compare the options, if it works fine, then try to change the options as in Portable version.
