841 - Ctrl+Y quick filter issues in dialogs
Posted: 17.02.2021, 20:27
#1
In Search dialog:
- press Ctrl+Q to enable quick filter
- type few letters
- file list is filtered
- press Ctrl+Q to disable filter
= filter is disabled, correct
In Shortcuts or "Define keyboard shortcuts" dialog:
- press Ctrl+Q to enable quick filter
- type few letters, e.g. wip
- file list is filtered
- press Ctrl+Q to disable filter
= filter is NOT disabled
#2
In Search dialog now (possibly it will the same in other dialogs, if #1 will be fixed):
- use option "Hotkey activates filter when field is not empty"
- open Search dialog
- press Ctrl+Q to enable quick filter
- type few letters
- file list is filtered
- press Ctrl+Q to disable filter
- filter is disabled, correct
- press Ctrl+Q to re-enable filter
= filter is NOT re-enabled
#2 is not so important for dialogs, but it would be useful, if it would respect that option, so it would be possible to enable/disable filter with Ctrl+Q anytime, as in the main FC window.
