In fact I noticed this bug in several recent versions, not only the latest v841.

I am running the 64bit version on 64bit Windows 10.

I usually use "Big Icon" view, but I can not select item by hovering my mouse cursor over it. But I can do this on earlier versions.

But, if I switch to "Small Icon" view, I can select item by hovering the mouse cursor over it.

So, surely this is a bug.

Hottrack is in Icon view currently deactivated. You can activate it manually as described in the topic.

Did you really understand the issue I am talking about?

Did you tested/reproduced the issue I reported?

I tried the "hottrack" option you mentioned, it can not solve this problem.

"select a single item on the Big Icon view with mouse cursor hovering (and lasting for certain duration like 400ms) " should be a very simple and native function. Why it can not work this way?
