Upgraded to Ver 841

Layouts don't work anymore.

Tried creating new ones and saving but freeCommander ignores layout settings.

Can't setup working layouts.

Can't confirm here, tried also with default settings, creating 2 test layouts, they work good, also after FC restart.

Perhaps more info could help.

FC 841 donor 64-bit, Windows 10 20H2 64-bit.

Well you may not have tried this.

I have one layout with a search string in the quick filter.

Previously I could save that layout and it would restore the layout with the search string still in the quick filter.

It doesn't do that anymore and returns to layout but with the quick filter empty.

Just in case this gets forgotten.

I tested and the bug (which I have confirmed) is NOT in version 830 Layouts work fine with string in quick filter.

The bug started @ version 831.

I am currently using 830 with no problems.

This does not work. Layouts does not keep filters and this option is turned off.

Turn on the option and try again.

Well of course I TURNED IT ON. DUH

What I meant was that after trying the layout option with the 'Keep filter on tab change" ON it is then resets back to OFF.

It does not 'stick'
