FC steals focus regularly

Hi, I have been using FC for a long time - great APP, thanks for that.
Lately I started observe a weird issue on several workstations. When FC is running it steals windows focus from time to time and gets in the foreground, it doesnt matter what the user is doing with the PC and what application is running. FC windows just gets in the foreground activated and the app, user was working in, is left in the background. I left the workstation alone, no key or mouse clicks just with MS Excel running and after some time FC window popped in the front again. The time interval when this happens seems different everytime - usually 10-30 minutes. It happens if FC has in both panels local drives or network drives - it doesnt matter for this issue to reappear.
Because I observe such issue on all newly installed PCs from our WinXP SP2 installation source, I start thinking that it has probably something to do with the presets done to the installation source itself (registry changes etc.)
Does anybody got similar issue in the past? Does anybody know if there is some windows/registry settings which could result in such behaviour?
I used several versions of FC and even FC 2008.6a is behaving the same. All issues observed on clean Win XP SP2 with IE7.0 and WMP11.
Thanks for any input.
