It would be nice to have a preview for Markdown files .md in the preview window like windows 10 does in File Explorer.

On my Windows 10 there is no build in preview for md files.
You can try plugin.

So Total Commander plugins are interchangeable with FC?

Although not as polished looking. The heading doesn't have an underline or there's no support for emojis' not that that's really important.

I changed the css and managed to get this. Much better.

For anyone wanting to change the default, get a css file on the web and change CustomCSS=css\none.css of the file MarkdownView.ini to CustomCSS=css\yourcss.css.

Downloaded WLX for TC from suggested link https://github.com/rg-software/wlx-markdown-viewer
Unarchived it to Plugins folder.
Via Menu: Settings -> View -> Viewer -> Viewer , tab: Plugins
added. Apply.
Save Settings.

Then close FC, open FC -plugin disappear from plugin list.
How can I add viewer?

It was - FreeCommander XE 2020 Build 810a 64-bit donor
Updated to - FreeCommander XE 2023 Build 880 64-bit donor

Now it works perfectly with MarkdownViewer 0.2 plugin from TC

I also tried MarkdownViewer 0.2 and 0.3 with FreeCommander XE 2023 Build 880 but FreeCommander fails to load the plugin and displayed this error: Exception in plugin "MarkdownViewer.wlx" in function "ListSetDefaultParams



I also tried both the 32bit and 64bit versions of the plugin.

Any suggestions are highly welcome!

I am now using https://github.com/rg-software/wlx-edge-viewer/ which seems to work fine.
