FreeCommander Forum

Just installed the latest version of Freecommander 64 bit. When I start it up, I get error msg "C:\$recycle.bin\S-1-5-18 is not accessible Access is denied" . I cannot click on any other menu option on the Freecommander app. They are all nonresponsive. It will repeat that msg for various files until it just freeezes.

I uninstalled FC, ran a registry cleaner, deleted the FC folder, rebooted and reinstalled FC. Same result.

I then deleted the 64 bit version, cleaned the registry, rebooted and installed the freeware downloaded the 32 bit version, installed it and it works fine.

Suggestions?

Try to backup and delete Settings folder, while FC is closed.
