Feature Request: Norton Change Directory
Posted: 15.08.2020, 14:33
Hi,
My first computer was a Tandy TRS-80 Model III. And my first PC was running DOS (at that time, almost nobody was using Windows).
Soon, I learned about utilities as PC Tools and Norton Utilities. I also became a big fan of Norton Change Directory (NCD).
Why?
- Because you can see the folder structure of a drive in (almost) full screen.
- You can navigate from one directory to another by using the arrow keys on the keyboard (or point 'n click with the mouse).
- You can type a part of the folder name, and Norton Change Directory will jump to the first folder that contains those characters in it's name. I believe it was F3 to jump to the next one. To enter that folder, hit 'Return' on the keyboard.
Here's a screenshot of Norton Change Directory: https://waterlan.home.xs4all.nl/ncd_tree.png
I would highly appreciate it if this will be implemented.
With kind regards,
Patrick
