Select a number of files and folders in a root folder
(number of files and folders doesn't make a difference, also it doesn't make a difference if the folders contain subfolders)
select a preset (Profile:)
select >With subfolders<
select >Only files<
click on >Rename<
click on >Reload<
repeat steps above thereby selecting a different preset
after a number of rename operations, several files are removed from/lost in the file list of the multi rename UI
(there is no recognizable number of operations until files are removed/lost, the issue occurs after any number of operations)

EDIT: the files lost are in the root folder

This issue is still present in Version 824

This issue is still present in version 830.

Here for clarification, the files which are lost are the ones in the root folder.

I can not reproduce it.
If you want send me your settings and describe step by step how to reproduce it with your settings.

Select a number of files and folders within a folder (E:\Test)
>Strg+m< to open multirename window
select a preset (Profile:)
select >With sub folders<
select >Only files<



click on >Rename<



click on >Reload<
select a preset (Profile:)
select >With sub folders<
select >Only files<



click on >Rename<



FC looses focus of selected files after renaming them and therefore they are ignored upon consecutive rename operations.

P.S. German text in GUI needs more room on right side of settings tab
