FreeCommander Forum

Hello,
Everytime when I start FC it asks me to grant access to restricted folder (I don't know which - Window title shows "MSOCache"). I don't want to grant it. But it keep to throw this window and FC is frozen between popups. Both panels have Desktop folder opened (but folder content is shown only in the first panel.

(Yes, there are some network drives too..)

I'm out of ideas... Thanks for your help.

Oh, maybe I know what caused this behavior. In second panel was network disk with "Show content of all subfolders option (CTRL+B)" open. So it maybe tries to open all folder in My Computer in this mode.

It really tried to show Desktop in "Flat View".

Solution:

1. Close FC
2. Find FreeCommander.ini (C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\FreeCommanderXE\Settings\FreeCommander.ini) if you didn't change it before.
3. Edit it (Notepad or something else)
4. Find [Tab_*] section (where * is wildcard). It was at the end of my file. (There is so many these section as tabs opened in FC)
5. Find FlatView=1 in this section and set it to FlatView=0 - do it for every [Tab_*] section!
6. Save FreeCommander.ini
7. Run FreeCommander
