in tab properties you can define whether the individual colors shall also apply for the activated tab.
however, this is not available for the text. the text color is coming from settings | folder tabs | tab colors. it can obviously only be set globally.
If there are tabs with dark as well as light colors the single text color can't contrast sufficiently.

It is possible to set also the font color for active and inactive tab. I think there is a bug there, try to close the setting window, or/and restart FC and the font color in context menu of the color buttons should be available.

I already reported that bug, I'll try to find it, or I'll create a new topic.

The font color submenu is lost, if you click the first color button for inactive panel.
