As you can see in the middle of this fragment of a screenshot, my Splitter adds white contour around icons that I myself have picked [for my 8 predefined quick filters]
The image also shows how these icons look like normally when viewed in a folder [at the top, on the right side]
This was happening when I had as little as 2 icons, on previous versions on FreeCommander and on Windows 7. Currently I am using FreeCommander 770 32-bit public on Windows 10 Enterprise x64 18362.356. So the issue is constant; while my other icons choosen by me in other places look A-OK

Re: Custom icons on Splitter have a white contur
It would be nice if you would write the version in the title, e.g. (V.770).
This would save many users time.

Please upgrade to the latest version (XE 2019 Build 804 32-bit public beta) and test again.
Re: Custom icons on Splitter have a white contur
Unfortunately version 840 public still has this issue
Re: Custom icons on Splitter have a white contur
Finally - the version 860 32-bit public took care of that bug
When using it I no longer have a white contour around the icons on the Splitter. (Plus various default / system icons are now apparently from a wholesome new more modern looking set of icons)
So thank you very much Marek for taking care of this issue
