Hi.
This shortcut is double used.
If I press ALT-V it will also do a compare.

Confirmed. It's not the only conflict shortcut, others are: Alt+T - tree, Alt+F - fav. tree, but I'm not sure if it's a 100% bug.
I don't know how many users use Alt+ shortcuts for menu, FC uses many keyboard shortcuts, so it's not easy to find good alternative shortcuts.
Workaround is to just press and release Alt and then press V.
